Great opportunity for wooded acreage in the countryside of Greensville Co! Good site for a custom home site, weekend getaway, and recreation. Good investment opportunity also with 59 acres of 13 year old replanted pines. Another 25 acres of this offering is in natural regeneration and awaiting your fingerprint on a wildlife management plan. That plan could easily involve trails and more food plots while the growth is young. Several acres of hardwood bottoms with the flowing Massie Branch meandering through the middle of this tract with lots of wildlife sign. There are some Big Bucks in this country and turkeys appear plentiful. There is a dirt road running through the middle of this parcel with a couple of small food plots already cleared. This road is shared access with an adjacent landowner. Soil maps indicate well drained soil for a septic system. Over 1,000 ft. of state road frontage. Minutes from I95 and Emporia, an hour from Richmond area and just a little longer to the Raleigh area. Greensville County was established in 1781 from Brunswick County. The county is probably named for Sir Richard Grenville, leader of the settlement on Roanoke Island, 1585. There is also belief that it may be named after Nathanael Greene, a major general of the Continental Army and one of George Washington's brightest officers.

Lake Gaston is a hydroelectric reservoir in the eastern United States. Part of the lake is in the North Carolina counties of Halifax, Northampton, and Warren. The part extending into Virginia lies in Brunswick and Mecklenburg counties. Lake Gaston is roughly 35 miles long and covers over 20,000 acres, with 350 miles of shoreline.
