Raised levees large enough for a vehicle to cross make access for equipment and hunters very easy, and there are comfortable built in blinds. The impoundment is regulated by several modern flashboard risers to regulate the water level for planting and flooding in season.
Pine Ridge Plantation has Ridges, Bottoms, Uplands, Spring Creeks and Old Growth Hardwoods that provide great beauty. There are 3,500 ft on bold Mountain Oak Creek whose headwaters are on the original Callaway Gardens Property in Pine Mountain and empties into Lake Harding just a couple miles away.
