Mountain Meadows Ranch consists of 523.89 acres by Collbran Colorado and below the Bull Basin Reservoirs on the Grand Mesa.Cattle usually turn out by the middle of May to the End of October and the ranch can hold 100 head of cows conservatively. Most of the meadows on this ranch are flood irrigated throughout the irrigation season. A large percentage of the topography is gentle mixed with bands of Scrub Oak Brush, Juniper trees, and big open meadows. The bands of Scrub Oak Brush provide cover and feed for the mule deer which makes for great hunting on this ranch. Elk starts coming down as early as September from the higher elevations.
